Are you passionate about exploring the intricate dynamics of fluid behavior and applying your engineering prowess to solve complex design challenges? Join our team as a Design Engineering Intern specializing in CFD.
As a Design Engineering Intern focused on CFD, you will work closely with our seasoned engineers to analyze and optimize the performance of various systems through advanced computational simulations. You will have the chance to contribute to the design and development process of next-generation products, from concept ideation to prototype testing.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conducting numerical simulations using industry-standard CFD software to model fluid flow, heat transfer, and other related phenomena.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate CFD analysis into the design process, providing valuable insights for performance enhancement and optimization.
3. Analyzing simulation results to identify design flaws, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions.
4. Assisting in the validation of simulation results through experimental testing and data analysis, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
5. Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations in clear and concise reports for internal stakeholders.
This internship offers a stimulating learning environment where you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects alongside experienced professionals. You will receive mentorship and guidance to further develop your technical skills and expand your understanding of computational fluid dynamics.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 29th Apr'24 and 3rd Jun'24
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
* Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.
1. Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in mechanical aerospace, automotive engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methods.
3. Exposure to OpenFOAM is an advantage.
4. Familiarity with any CAD software.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
